With mobile phones turning into the primary mode of consumption. For a majority, there is an ever-great reach and availability of users to consume all this content. Kesari's Den: 2-Minutes to Notoriety!
http://kesari.blogspot.com/2015/07/2-minutes-to-notoriety.html
Random ramblings of the writer in me! Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Its been over a month and enough news-feed bytes have been transferred on how Nestle's Maggi got it all wrong, and ended up serving an unsavoury snack in India. This post is not about that. Maggi has also been the butt of a billion jokes over the past month. I do not intend to go into that either. This is what pains me with the recent episode, while there is a deep sense of disappointment at the callous disregard for food safety standards....

Random ramblings of the writer in me! Friday, May 29, 2015. Automated Stories from Google. I had recently migrated to an Android smartphone from a Windows 'not-so-smart-version' phone that I had been using for some years. This was a huge upgrade for me and more on this in a separate post, soon. I now want to talk about another feature that I had stumbled upon. Delving further, I understood that this feature was launched by Google in mid-2014 and it worked by simply combining the following techniques:.

Random ramblings of the writer in me! Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Been AWOL from the blog! I recently came across this word "awol" that interested me, because I'd have never guessed that this was a grammatically correct word. Yes, this is a proper English word which actually means 'Absent WithOut Leave'. Humorously contrived attributions of the letters in the subsequent World Wars included "A Wolf On the Loose" and "After Women Or Liquor"! Source: http:/ www.answers.com/. Tuesday, March 10, 2009. With the a...

Random ramblings of the writer in me! Saturday, May 02, 2009. Amazon has gone the Apple way with the launch of their innovative reading device, christened 'Kindle'. This was initially launched in 2007 and is currently supported only in the US. I recently came across this and got pretty excited about the idea for some obvious reasons. Kindle effectively does away with the cons of reading from electronic devices, such as the commonplace computer monitor! Saturday, May 02, 2009. Links to this post. Catch a ...

Random ramblings of the writer in me! Saturday, January 31, 2015. Obama's limousine, which incidentally has its own wikipedia page. The Republic day celebrations. After watching the parade, I was told by friends about 'Beating the retreat' parade which I wasn't aware of. Many spoke very highly of it and in some cases even considered this a notch higher than the Republic day parade in itself. With curiosity, we bought tickets in the same year. Random ramblings of the writer in me! Tuesday, April 07, 2009. The Economics of Elections! For a moment if we ignore all the shady politics and power games associated with the Indian General Elections. And view it purely from a macro-economic perspective, the timing of polls couldn't have been any better this time around! We can expect that the Lok Sabha polls would do their bit to ease the nerves frayed by this massive monster we've come to know as the 'economic recession'. Now contrast this with our ca...

Random ramblings of the writer in me! Saturday, February 28, 2009. Book - 'The 3 Mistakes of my Life'. I recently bought Chetan Bhagat's third book 'The 3 Mistakes of my life'. The author is already a sensation in the Indian readers circle with both his earlier books being well received; they are also in the process of being adapted into Bollywood movies. The book's blurb claims that he has become the 'biggest-selling English-language novelist in India's history'! The 3 mistakes of my life' has a more se...
