Torn up inside, consumed by pride. I could not run, I could not hide. Knowing I could not decide. Accepting I was on a ride. Flying blind around the bend. Hoping that it all might end. The mental pain, the agony. So lost before epiphany. The All That Is just carries on. The twilight just before the dawn. Is This a Dream?

My mother worked in show business as a singer and dancer in a Latin band and was often gone for short periods in the Caribbean islands working. So my sister and I lived with our grandparents until I was about eight years old. One of my earliest memories was of me in a play pen. I remember shoes when I was five.
