Thursday, September 24, 2009. Water on Moon by Chandrayan - 1 mission. Proud that an Indian mission has resulted in this discovery. Provides motivation to do our work even better. Links to this post. Snub to Indian media by Cricket team in SA. Wonderful. Especially the reader's comments following the article. Team India continues to snub media. As it is, the Indian media has become even less credible. Links to this post. Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Another Indian Press gaffe. Links to this post.

Friday, May 30, 2008. He let me down. Harbhajan has let me down. I am embarassed that I sided and supported him in the controversy in Australia. He has been banned for a number of matches and stripped off his huge renumeration for IPL. That is how it should have been. I am sure that these are the feelings of all Indian fans and so no one is supporting him today. Sresanth seems to have learned his lesson and has sobered down. Links to this post. Sunday, November 30, 2008. More comments on Mumbai Terror Attack. Shivraj Patil's resignation was default. Government should not expect to be seen as doing something by getting him to resign. It needs to do a lot more and needs to be also seen to be doing a lot more. No one from the government should be talking to any news channel in a loud or aggressive tone. I believe thay Raj Thackray is finished unless he goes back to his chacha, who too not have a lot of steam left. Links to this post. Even before t...

Saturday, June 13, 2009. Our crashing out chances from T20 World Cup. At least 20 runs were lost during the phase when Dhoni was trying to just concentrate on taking singles. Hey this is T20 mahi. And you became captain for your ability to make big scores 'faaassst'. And now it is your batting basically which lost us those 20 runs. But yes of course it is very easy to criticise when all plans and strategies fall apart and very easy to applaud the 'genius' when all of it just works. Links to this post.

Sursuri!: Of jocks and jokes
http://sursuri.blogspot.com/2008/06/of-jocks-and-jokes.html
Sunday, June 8, 2008. Of jocks and jokes. This interview was done in April 2007 for a Mumbai-based daily that was running a series of profiles of young achievers. But this writer left the city soonafter, while the features editor of the paper quit. This is how the interview finally sees the day of light. 32 years (He is 34 now). Comic spots for Extra Innings during the 2003 Cricket World Cup. Marketing management, film production. MS Dhoni is wary of Vikram Sathaye. People know little of his accomplishme...

Sursuri!: Modi, the man with the golden touch — and a past
http://sursuri.blogspot.com/2008/05/modi-man-with-golden-touch-and-past.html
Friday, May 30, 2008. Modi, the man with the golden touch — and a past. Must a man’s misdeeds, committed in the first flush of youth, come back to haunt him 23 years later? In Victor Hugo’s masterpiece Les Miserables, the protagonist, Jean Valjean, committed an insignificant indiscretion in youth and desperation; he found an implacable enemy in Inspector Javert, who proved an unshakeable foe, the man who gave him a lifelong chase towards a tragic denouement. Carried the story on its front page, just thre...

Anything and everything finds a space here. Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Some Judgment, huh…@#%#$! According to psychiatrists her mental age is between seven and nine years with an IQ of children in that age group. I wonder how her counsel came to the conclusion that the victim wants the child to be born! How can the STATE take care of the victim and its child when she was raped in the very institution where the STATE had put her in! What happens to the person who raped her? Links to this post.

Chatter Babble Prattle... : Drawing dread
http://ayesha1.blogspot.com/2009/08/drawing-dread.html
Anything and everything finds a space here. Thursday, August 20, 2009. As a kid I used to dread that I will fall behind a year just because I could not draw, I was terrible at it! Stick figures were clearly not going to work here…. I can imagine a thousand things in my mind, but to translate them into pictures by drawing is beyond me, I just cannot do it! I was sure that I would be detained in that class (I was in class 5) and I was sweating profusely! Thats what i used to feel in my maths classes :).

Sursuri!: What's The Colour Of Money?
http://sursuri.blogspot.com/2008/05/whats-colour-of-money.html
Wednesday, May 21, 2008. What's The Colour Of Money? Money may make you class conscious, but it can't buy you class. One aspect of old money that's most worthy of approval is the fact that pecuniary privilege is, frequently, good for artistic taste. Excesses of money are made tolerable by artistic discrimination it can help foster. That's not happened with the IPL – you could be forgiven if you have fit of apoplexy if you look at the IPL winner's trophy, for it's an eyesore. The patriotic theme – t...
