All in all, it was a quick, fun read, which I guess is what I was looking for, but still left me wanting a little something more. Until I can find that perfect escape novel, I'll return for now to my Dr. Oz book on parenting, hoping it leaves me with a better feeling than Gibson's novel. Death of a Salesman.

Sunday, February 14, 2010. Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 17. At first I thought the Color Challenge over at Stacey's Stampin' Stage. Might prove to be a bit difficult for me this week as the colors were some that I had never used together before. As it turns out, this was the easiest card I have done yet! I have a dear friend who recently lost her beloved pet of 14 years and, though we have spoken many times on the phone since, I wanted to send her a card to let her know I am thinking of her.

Wednesday, August 4, 2010. July Sunday Stampers Club. Our Sunday Stampers club gave a salute to summer and a final hurrah to the fabulous Summer Mini in July. We were all anxiously awaiting the release of the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog and we knew that once we laid eyes on the Fall and Winter products, we'd be sidetracked for awhile! We were sooooo right about that! First up is this adorable Popsicle card - so easy and so fun! Who wouldn't smile when they opened this? Ink: Only Orange, Creamy Caramel.

Is all about those great Halloween colors:. I created a little Halloween fun with my Frankie card -. I saw one similiar to this on someone elses blog and thought I'd give it a try - isn't he cute? I used my Big Shot to cut out the head and hair using the Top Note die, then trimmed up the bangs by hand. What a blast that was!
