Rambling Reds

Friday, June 27, 2014. So, Luis Suarez has been banned for 4 months from 'all football-related activity' by FIFA. If FIFA had acted half as swiftly as it did on Suarez on allegations of corruption against itself, then there wouldn't be hundreds of workers dying in Qatar as well. But who am I to judge the all-powerful FIFA right? Should we really be surprised? The carrot or the stick? Would FIFA have been better off by banning Suarez from playing football and instead arranging for him to attend therapy?

Rambling Reds: Lack of cutting edge costs Liverpool

http://www.ramblingreds.blogspot.com/2013/09/lack-of-cutting-edge-costs-liverpool.html

Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Lack of cutting edge costs Liverpool. How many sides can truly go to Old Trafford and say they dominated them for long periods? Because we really did, didn't we? 1 A 3-5-2 formation -. 2 The defence -. Enrique's error aside, how good did that defence look! The only thing I would change is throw in Agger in place of Martin Skrtel. We do need a play who can bring the ball out from the back. I thought Lucas was absolutely excellent yesterday! I certainly hope not, because we w...

Rambling Reds: SASAS!

http://www.ramblingreds.blogspot.com/2014/02/that-was-exhilarating.html

Saturday, February 8, 2014. That was exhilarating. Sublime. Swashbuckling.Unbelievable. Fantastic. That's it. I've run out of adjectives. Help me out with more in the comments! We scored five, but we could have scored SO many more! Suarez hitting the post, Hendo's dink over Sczezny that went wide, Sterling missing two chances to beat the goalkeeper, Suarez's free kick that caught everyone except an alert Sczezny out! Good times, eh? PS: Photo credit @MostarLFC. PPS: Also read this on Empire Of The Kop.

Rambling Reds: Bouncebackability

http://www.ramblingreds.blogspot.com/2013/11/bouncebackability.html

Saturday, November 9, 2013. 4 goals. 68% possession. 32 shots. 10 shots on target. You would think this was Pep Guardiola's Barcelona playing, not Liverpool. Especially not the Liverpool we've become accustomed to seeing and moaning about for the past three years. Liverpool have now won the league game immediately after a league defeat for the ninth time in a row! PS: Photo credit to @MostarLFC. PPS: Read this post on Empire Of The Kop. Rambling Reds: I just can't get enough!

http://www.ramblingreds.blogspot.com/2013/09/i-just-cant-get-enough.html

Sunday, September 29, 2013. I just can't get enough! Let us compare tonight's game with the game against Aston Villa, Liverpool were camped in their own half for probably the entire of the second half. Simon Mignolet had to make a couple of heart stopping saves to deny Christian Benteke. How many heart-stopping, "here we go again" moments did we have tonight? For me, our defence was also quite pleasing to see. Toure, Skrtel and Sakho seemed brilliant at the back. I don't quite remember seeing a L...Win t...

Ramblings of a Psycho Red-head

Ramblings of a Psycho Red-head. Just some thoughts from a ginger. :). Monday, September 27, 2010. Thanks to Andrew for helping me get over writers block. September 27th, 2010. We live a symphony, full of meter, rhyme, and melody. We rise to the blare of an alarm, stretch sleepily, get dressed, begin our day, come home, make dinner, eat, watch TV, go to bed. Rhythm. How many times had I told her I would be there for her? 8220;He hasn't moved for ten minutes.”. It was obvious that he was waiting for someon...

The Best Post of the Year. August 30, 2015. J: Atticus, if you eat the red pepperoni, green spinach, and yellow egg all together at once, your hands might turn purple! A: No, that just happens in magic life, mom. A: I played soccer in my mouth with the snot. I made a ball in between my mouth. Plagiarism of Parent: 30 September. J: Do you think you might want a jacket to ride around the lake? It’s a little chilly. A: I’m not sure. J: OK Maybe we should go back and get it just in case? A: I’m not sure!

Ramblings of a Redneck Mommy

Ramblings of a Redneck Mommy. Sunday, December 7, 2014. SoI've been away from here, partly because I couldn't remember how to get in with the right account :) I hope to be MUCH more active now, with more photo blogs of how to do things, especially with food, that gear toward self-sufficiency and just making good stuff! Since it was only five of us at the table, a 18lb bird was a little bit of overkill, but I did request leftovers! Anyway.to get to it. Behold the leftover turkey. It's a mess :). This is w...

Wednesday, September 10, 2014. We are now transitioning to Fall. School has started, the days are slowly becoming cooler, and leaves are beginning to change colors once again. In welcoming September, the littles and I made applesauce and apple banana bread. We used The Pioneer Woman's. Recipe to make our applesauce. For applesauce lovers, this is a must try! Next, I had some bananas that were beginning to turn brown, and from where I now had some extra applesauce on hand we also made apple banana bread.

Ramblings left to the ether, like the bubbles sent to the air.etchings on the wall, lines on the sand.as I walk past, in these shores of time. Friday, August 14, 2015. It is that time of the year. Boxes around, passport out, baggage allowance restrictions. A damp morning outside. These flights which move from here to there to here to there. Crowds, mountains, blue berries, traffic jams, swearing. We who put our tents about like just anywhere. Every conversation a fleeting wind. One can carry only so much.

Reese Family

Today was the first official day of football season for Cole. He had three scrimmage games all morning long. It was humid and hot, but everyone had fun. Cole is playing cornerback on defense, and wide receiver on offense. He does not like wearing a helmet at all! There are 45 kids on the team, so it is crazy. Football is completely different than soccer and we are adjusting, but it has been fun so far. I took the kids swimming tonight and Liv went off the high dive for the first time! We spent the past w...
