Ramblings

The scattered thoughts of an indecisive amateur. Tuesday, May 29, 2007. I've just been made aware of another friend who is making a major fund raising trek. Ramesh Ferris is going across the country in order to raise money to eradicate Polio. I knew Ramesh when we were both growing up in the Yukon. Polio never stopped him, but then he had the advantages of the Canadian Health Care system. This is a great cause. Please show your support. Links to this post. A Fine Rawlsian Post. Ramblings: Day Care

http://ramblings123.blogspot.com/2007/03/day-care.html

The scattered thoughts of an indecisive amateur. Friday, March 02, 2007. I've been flooded with e-mail from loyal readers asking "CMM where have you been? I require wisdom and guidance, will you please make a post so that I can get on with my life.". I would have thought that with the demand that clearly exists there would be a greater diversity of pricing. The other thing that I was surprised to find out is that there have been very few people who have withdrawn from daycare even though federal subsidie...

The scattered thoughts of an indecisive amateur. Thursday, February 08, 2007. Climate Change and The Decline of Reason. I want to start off by saying that I firmly believe that we need to reduce our consumption of fossil fuels and pump less crap into the air, as well as cut down fewer trees, throw less garbage into the oceans and be cleaner better people. I don't think that the Canadian Government is doing enough, nor do I think the liberals will do enough. Now, onto my main point:. My concern is the dec...

ramblings007 | An Opinion about Everything!

An Opinion about Everything! Labour Party Leadership Election 2015 will the ‘no-hoper’ actually win? August 9, 2015. The Red Flag the original symbol of the Labour Party. No, it certainly has turned turtle and this loser has amazed everybody by streaking into the lead, now getting the backing of the Unions, gaining the support of the grass-roots local parties, and galvanising the interest of hoards of young people. How the hell has he done it you may wonder? Then he is a true socialist of which we haven’...

The Rambling Thoughts of 1 man living for God 7 days a week. October 4, 2014. 2 Timothy 1:9 AMP. For it is He] Who delivered and saved us and called us with a calling in itself holy and leading to holiness [ to a life of consecration, a vocation of holiness. He did it] not because of anything of merit that we have done, but because of and to further His own purpose and grace (unmerited favor) which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began [eternal ages ago]. God's job is for us to be holy.

Ramblings & reflections | Some poems, ramblings & reflections…

Some poems, ramblings and reflections…. Those who work much do not work hard…. There are those recurring posts on Facebook about insightful but elusive words for feelings that you find hard to express. I don’t know if there is a word for someone who feels overwhelmed when there are many things to do and far too many agendas – if there is one such word, it fits me to a ‘T’. I don’t think I can ever thank Brainpickings.org. Not only that, his life and philosophies are quite inspiring as well! The really ef...

In the sun born over and over, I ran my heedless ways

In the sun born over and over, I ran my heedless ways. Friday, 12 October 2012. To have woken so rudely from such strange slumber,. To feel the hot, mad filaments of my mind,. Flush tight against each other, fizzing in their anticipation. Saturday, 3 March 2012. Midsummer in an Orchard. Paint an orchard washed with dusk,. And children running merrily. To hang their lanterns from the trees,. Swathed in silks and heavy musk. Of green, and silver velvet- Puck! These laughing imps could only be. It wasn&#821...
