This is one of our favorite places to go that is within a 4 hr drive. (Exactly 4 hours! The view from our balcony. Olivia's favorite place was the lake. I think her Mom and Dad's favorite place was the pool. Chris might be pondering why he moved back to Missouri with all the humdity. Olivia patiently waiting for the shuttle to pick her up.

Ramblings by Steve and Kim. Thursday, September 25, 2014. A Day At The Zoo. Last week I went to the zoo with Sunny, Amber and all the grandkids. We got there early enough that we could see the Stingrays for free. See this little red head? She was part of our group. What a cute head of hair! Have you ever felt like scratching but since you were in public didn't? This guy had no qualms about it! Steve is looking for a geocache! This was right next to our camping spot. Beautiful! Ramblings by Steve and Kim. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. All Around The Town. Needles Highway is a scenic, twisty, turny road in Custer State Park. Don't go if you get car sick easily. This is the eye of the needle. We visited a few casinos. We found this giant corn across the street from the Corn Palace. Everyone who drives through South Dakota is required to stop at Wall Drugs. It's a law or something! The streets of Wall, SD. We drove through Sturgis on our way to Deadwood. Unimpressive. Morning At The Zoo.

Ramblings by Steve and Kim. Saturday, March 28, 2015. Racing and a Birthday. We had a great weekend in LA with Tommy and Jena. We went to a bike race on Saturday and then headed to Santa Barbara to eat a delicious birthday dinner for Tommy. After spending the night there we went to 3 wineries. This one was our favorite. We especially liked the bean bag game! This is Castaic Lake. As you can tell the drought has really affected it. Tommy raced here. Random shot of him standing in front of their apartment.
