Ramblings on government

http://www.ramblingsdc.net/Govern.html

Created 2004/05/11, modified 2016/03/10. Contact, email daveclarkecb@yahoo.com. In a democratic country with freedom of speech one has not only a right, but an obligation to express one's concerns; hence this and several other of my pages. Ultimate cause of war crimes? Japanese history during the era of the shoguns, with its hierarchical structure and samurai traditions were the precursor. Then the militaristic government of Japan in the lead-up to WW2 found it convenient to further the ideals of sol...

The futility of war

The futility of war. Google search this site. Written 2006/11/14, modified 2016/04/27. Feedback to daveclarkecb@yahoo.com welcome. A Vietnam War Remnants Museum (Saigon) photo of a victim of a white phosphorus bomb used by the USA against the Vietnamese. I apologise if some people find this photo shocking. War does terrible things to people, would it be better if we lived more in ignorance of how shocking some of those terrible things can be, or is it better to face the terrible facts? Four million were ...

Walking for climate change awareness: cleaning up the roadsides at the same time

http://www.ramblingsdc.net/cleanup.html

Where have I been? What can you do? What type of rubbish is there? Walking for climate change awareness: cleaning up the roadsides at the same time. Some people dump rubbish on roadsides; some people dump waste gasses into the atmosphere. Both actions are irresponsible and harmful and good people should be stopping them from happening. How can an individual, who likes walking but is a poor talker, make people think about the need to work at slowing climate change? The link: roadsides and atmosphere.

Man is a vile creature!

Upgrade to paid account! Man is a vile creature! And vile is he who calls him vile for that. May 12th, 2008. Routine atrocity, is it? Little surprise there then. Unless it is the case that this is somehow just a stepping stone to something infinitely more destructive. I wonder if I'd sleep through. Too I feel almost cheated. Posted at 01:24 pm. Apr 26th, 2008. OOC: Firstly, sorry about the absence and the fact I forgot it had been so long since I'd posted as Rodya ). Because he's a twat like that.

Ramblings of a Crazy Woman

Ramblings of a Crazy Woman. Saturday, October 29. A week ago Friday I had a procedure done called laparoscopic "something or another"! In my world they went inside and looked around to figure out where the pain was coming from! Whatever word they want to call it is fine with me. :). Turns out I had some scarring from one of my C-sections (I'm assuming my most recent one) that was causing me some problems. He (the Doctor) cleaned it up and now all is well! The nurse told me. "It's going to bruise. I tried...

Amused Bitch

Thursday, February 14, 2013. You've Got a Friend in Me. For me, there are several clauses in the friendship agreement: sharing parts of our lives- in sadness and in health, helping out when possible, understanding each other's quirks, accepting the fact that each other is different and learning to respect the different perspectives that our friends may have. In the past week, I no longer understand what friendship means to some people I'm friends with. I did not reply. I feel that my friend depended on m...

Ramblings of a Crazy Woman

Ramblings of a Crazy Woman. A place to vent all the crazy disorganized thoughts that go through my head on a daily basis. Sunday, June 29, 2014. It is Okay to NOT be Okay. It is no secret that one of the biggest challenges I face in my life is a constant battle with depression. I have been taught from the day I was born about God's love for me and how beautiful the knowledge of eternal families is. Yes, I have a really great life. Life is a roller coaster ride and we all have our ups and downs. The k...

Ramblings, from the s(e)oul. obviously. How much is too much? I’m afraid I’ll settle into my apartment and then remember something that I left behind because my bag was 51.3 pounds. Is it wrong of me to want to bring Snatch? Or Remember the Titans? Do I really NEED these DVDs? Probably not, but it’ll help when I start getting homesick. How do you move to another continent for two years and decide what parts of your life to bring with you and what to leave behind? Comments : Leave a Comment. Yeah, except ...

Ramblings et al

My world, my thoughts, my space. About Ramblings et al. Mum, Dad And The Surreal Sweetness Of The Afternoon Nap. I am on vacation this week. Okay, strictly speaking, my little one has school holidays and I am at Mum's; having a wonderful time despite working from home! Getting ready to start work and I wished I could tell her how much it was breaking my heart too. But then my little one started chatting her up and thankfully she was distracted. Ah, the bliss of working from home when you are at. You know...
