Living Abroad Part II. August 28, 2013. When I left France in 2011, I had every intention of parking my butt in PA and being grateful for the simple things like family, familiarity, a toaster, an oven… a refrigerator. I subconsciously avoided all methods of public transportation for months, and consciously cherished the freedom of having my own private automobile. And yet here I am packing my bags to cross seas once more to start another life in the same country that I so happily left two years ago.
