Occasional Musings n Ramblings. Monday, September 16, 2013. When it rains. it pours. We have returned back from India trip - when I say "we" it means Nikhil and I. Let me start from the beginning. We had our visa interview at the Chennai consulate on Tue, Aug 20th. I was very afraid that I will be issued a "221G" which means "additional processing" but then the Visa Officer asked me hardly five questions and said "Okay, ma'am, your visa is approved". He is on an O-1 Visa - Extraordinary ability visa!

My DH, in the past couple of weeks, kept complaining that he feels bad that he didn't get me anything for our 8 year wedding anniversary this past Feb. Honestly though, I didn't have anything in mind and didn't want anything. But yesterday I got a box delivered at my work place with this inside it. Matthew joined the world on 12.4.09. he weighed 7lb, 10 oz, and joined our family at 11:34, after 18 hours of labor (for the first few of which, i wasn't sure i WAS in labor! Matthew is the light of my life, and although it sounds like a cliche, he is the reason that i get out of bed in the morning. he is the cutest baby i have ever seen.he has the cutest, pudgiest cheeks and teeny baby toes that i love to kiss.
