Back Row Spinners: July 2010
http://backrowspinners.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 26, 2010. Full House in July! What a wonderful spin and grin we had in July! Bill and Juliann were here, so it made it extra special! Plus we had two newbies - welcome to Daphne and Janet! Here's hoping we didn't scare them off. We started off with Bill getting his present that Elizabeth made for him. He is just so lucky! The bejeweled crown fit him just perfectly and he wore it all afternoon. We weren't totally sure what to call him, so we settled on "your excellency.". Steve, Dawn and Tom&...

Back Row Spinners: August 2012
http://backrowspinners.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Summer is fleeting by and we all are busy at our projects. We had a very small and intimate group in August at our spin. Linda brought her completed afghan and it was wonderful to see. She also brought work in progress - a baby blanket - and we have gone to Red Heart's website to download the pattern. She was knitting it in blue for a soon-to-be-born baby boy. She continues to be an inspiration for all of us. The food was excellent, as usual. Next spin date is September 16!

Back Row Spinners: December 2009
http://backrowspinners.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 26, 2009. Happy Birthday, Stephen. Elizabeth won MPK this month and wore her February Lady sweater. I am not sure what she was knitting on now, but the cat was having a great nap and keeping parts of Elizabeth warm and toasty. Char, Steve, and Sharon in the dining room. They all look so serious. Pat, Elizabeth and Maggie in the living room. Pat brought this crocheted Nativity. It was very adorable. She gets the award for MPC (Most Prolific Crocheter). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). We are...

Linda again brought in a beautiful baby layette (no photo, sorry). We will get her spinning yet. A candid shot of Maggie. And here is a shot of a few of Steve's UFO's. We know there are more scattered around. We are a ve...

Back Row Spinners: September 2010
http://backrowspinners.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 28, 2010. A September Without Pictures. The camera never came out on Sunday, so we have a September spin without pictures. Since I always seem to have issues with putting pictures on, this is okay for me. Daphne stopped in briefly to pick up top and bobbins (almost like top and bottom, only different). She shared her very exciting news with us by showing us a picture of her ultrasound. The food was excellent (as usual). We had a cake to celebrate the milestone for Suzie and me. And fin...

Back Row Spinners: February 2012
http://backrowspinners.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 5, 2012. 2012 Here We Come! It has been almost a year since our last blog update, and I am feeling rather guilty about it. But since I don't do guilt anymore (from the book by the same name), it will not worry me too much. I am going to deviate from past blog updates and lean toward a narrative with a few pictures, rather than a picture blog with a little narrative. If you don't like it, don't read it. (I am feeling a bit feisty this morning! Dawn has opened a store in Gobles, Pearls, an...

Back Row Spinners: January 2011
http://backrowspinners.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 9, 2011. Happy New Year to everyone! It is -8 right now here, so I think winter has really set in. I'm thinking that this will encourage all those sheep to grow longer coats, as shearing is right around the corner. We had new folks join us this fall. Suzanne and Susan were new to our group. That could be a bit confusing, especially since we already have a Suzie, too. Our December group was tremendously small, but we had a good time. The weather was rather nasty that day.

Back Row Spinners: June 2010
http://backrowspinners.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 21, 2010. A Lovely Day in June. We had a very small group in June. The food was excellently diverse, almost as if we had planned it (which we did not). Elizabeth was spinning like crazy. I am not sure what Pat was doing. Maggie was spinning some lovely cormo. Dan arrived after work and sat in "the chair.". Steve was spinning less, so we couldn't even pick on him for his color choice which is usually pink. What is with that? I think so. Is Steve being a bad influence on her?

Back Row Spinners: October 2009
http://backrowspinners.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 24, 2009. Happy Birthday, Jim! Jim's birthday was the day of our spin, so we celebrated with a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting (yuck). There are three candles on his cake - one for the past, one for the present, and one for the future. I couldn't afford to buy as many as needed for his cake. We also started with a bottle of St. Julian's Solera and that was rather tasty! The errant slippers were found by Amy, so now Madeline will no longer have cold feet! Sharon modeled one of her...
