Homegrown and Heavenbound: The "Fire Camp"
http://homegrownandheavenbound.blogspot.com/2011/01/fire-camp.html
Tuesday, January 4, 2011. Lately we have been enjoying the cold (not freezing! Nights outdoors by having a cookout/campfire. Parker and Luke unintentionally have named this outing a firecamp! They absolutely love to have their firecamp in the evenings whenever they possibly can. Even little Reese gets in on the fun. This is the rare occasion that she is not dressed in something girly! Don't tell her mother but she kinda likes getting dirty too (tee.heee.heee! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Unit Link...

Saturday, March 27, 2010. Wake Up Sleeping Giant! I have made it a point to keep this blog focused on my family and our daily lives but I can remain silent no longer with this travesty that our government, well the executive branch, has forced upon this great country. This representative sums it up nicely. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch popup? Tuesday, March 23, 2010. And The Wall Came Tumbling Down. So, off they go to accomplish the task at hand. How to know when your 14 year-old son has skinned out too many deer: He walks into the kitchen pointing to his torso and says, "Mom, my tenderloins are hurting! You just gotta love 'em! Have a great day! Thursday, June 24, 2010. Guess Who Turned One Year Old? I'll give you one clue: All I saw in my house was Pink! She is such a girly-girl already, however she gets pretty feisty with her brothers and can hold her own ground! Not only does Reese look like Brooke ...

Saturday, March 12, 2011. Wal Mart Now Offering Honey Bees? Yep That's right folks and you read it here first! Wal Mart has just about anything you could want or need but.honey bees? Yes Even honey bees. Last week Ethan, Brandon's beekeeping mentor, found this "hard to find item" while shopping at Wal Mart. Actually he was in the parking lot getting ready to leave when he discovered a swarm in a tree. Like any true beekeeper, Ethan just happened to have a super or two in his van! You are the bestest!

Homegrown and Heavenbound: November 2010
http://homegrownandheavenbound.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 13, 2010. On this particular day, we had two rolls of hay that needed to be put out in the field. The two youngest had to hook up to the trailer, pull it out in the field and unload the hay. I decided to grab my camera and watch. Bryce helped Bran hook up to the trailer. Brandon is in the truck. That didn't work very well so Bryce backed the truck up to the trailer while Brandon guided him. Friday, November 5, 2010. Cold Fall Weather. Finally! I have been trying to get into the fall moo...

Wednesday, April 28, 2010. I knew that would get your attention! No, I am not talking about Brooke and I am definitely not talking about myself, for that matter! Sowho is pregnant again, you may ask? I couldn't tell at all. She is a very, shall we say, full-figured female so I didn't see any bulge. Monroe, on the other hand, saw all the action that blissfully romantic day and was certain she was pregnant. I mean, come on, 10 minutes, folks! Thank you Lord for the blessings of our children.). Notice the b...

Sunday, February 13, 2011. Prayer Needs and God's Faithfulness. Wow, my life has been anything but boring these past few months. I wanted to be more diligent about blogging but I never seem to get that far on my "to do" list for the day. Geez! I feel like I am more busy now than when I had sleepless, nursing babies to take care of and energetic toddlers to chase! At any rate, the purpose of today's blog is just an update of the happenings around our home. I am writing down all the blessings we have been ...

Thursday, October 14, 2010. I'm Back.Again :-). I apologize for not being more faithful to blog but I thought my days would get back to normal and slow down a bit. That has not been the case. The problem is my hubby has a hard time sitting still or in this case lying still. He gets cabin fever very easily. Let's just say that he is keeping me hopping around off and on all day! He will rest for a little bit but then I hear the walker dragging across the floor! Have you ever had fried greens? Actually a mo...
