The Littlest Steeds: Overheard By Emmy & Piper
http://twelvefeetteninches.blogspot.com/2016/08/overheard-by-emmy-piper.html
Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Overheard By Emmy and Piper. Since the girls are talking much more these days, it has been so funny to hear what they come up with. Here are a few funny examples that have happened recently. I asked as I pulled her out of the cart. My growing level of frustration must have been becoming more apparent, because Emmy looked at me and slowly said, "Oh my gossssssh.". Emmy went through a phase of only ever wanting Colby Jack Cheese, or as he calls it, "Baby Jack Cheese". In the tub, ...

Mark and Airin: September 2014
http://airinnikol.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 18, 2014. My work recently sent me to Michigan for some training, or what is called a "school". It is something they do a few times a year for associates in all the branches. It was a really wonderful visit and I am excited to go back again. That probably won't happen for at least a year. I flew into Lansing after a short layover in St. Paul, Minnesota. The airport in Lansing is pretty small, but nice. I liked how few people were there. During the days I would walk from the hotel to t...

The Littlest Steeds: April 2013
http://twelvefeetteninches.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 17, 2013. One afternoon, on a normal day of little importance, my brother was in his room doing something equally as unimportant. Discovering this was the case, I graciously decided to discard previous plans and give him my undivided attention. It just so happened that a week or two prior to this incident, my mom decided to replace the majority of the baseboards in the house. These boards came in long, narrow, easy-to-lift boxes and we still had one lying around. As a teacher I would be ...

The Littlest Steeds: September 2013

Saturday, September 7, 2013. Reign of the J's. As we began to tell family members about the pregnancy, I thought it would be cute to make my announcement in book form for Josh, and Matt's upcoming birthdays. (Again, before we knew about the twins). For those who were not born in the Snow family, a preface is needed in order to understand the end of the story. Here is a copy of the story. So this one time in April, I found out I was pregnant. But, the timing was convenient considering that we had just gra...

The Littlest Steeds: February 2013
http://twelvefeetteninches.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 20, 2013. In a hole in the ground, there lived two humans. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.". Yet in this case, it actually is very similar to the first two descriptions. Our sign out front. Perfect wedding gift from our friends). With all these amazing qualities, I am shocked we were able to score such upscale housing.

The Littlest Steeds: May 2014
http://twelvefeetteninches.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 4, 2014. Many years ago, when my siblings and I were not the angelic beings we are now, my mom used to wonder allowed (in her moments of great frustration), why we were not "more like the Hales.". The Hale family was in our stake, and were back then (and still are now), the closest a family can be to perfection. All seven of their children got along, and were best friends with each other. Summer, Autumn, Spring, Winter, Season, Rainy. Just days away from my delivery, I struggled to wrap my he...

Friday, October 19, 2012. Parsnips and Old Ladies. When you have one parent who enjoys plays and musicals, and another who appreciates classic literature and ancient works, you find yourself at the Shakespeare Festival. And Pirates of Penzance. Which she innocently repeated as Parsnips and Old Ladies. Last August, me, Kevin, Andrew and my dad were able to make a "drive through" version of the Festival. We attended two, same-day productions, The Glass Menagerie. And Romeo and Juliet. This year, my parents...

Mark and Airin: MDM - Seven Years Later
http://airinnikol.blogspot.com/2013/11/mdm-seven-years-later.html
Friday, November 15, 2013. MDM - Seven Years Later. Seven years ago, as a young 19-year-old, I embarked on the most memorable experience of my life. I said goodbye to my family as they dropped me off at the MTC, where I was for just over two weeks. I then flew to Detroit, Michigan. Little did I know what sort of an impact it would have on my life. I think I owe part of getting this job to serving in Michigan. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). April 30, 2011.
