Saturday, March 7, 2009. Well we finally got our first look at what we are expecting! And I would have to say that we were more excited than we thought we would be! It seems hard to put into words what it feels like to see something like this for the first time but we are both so excited. The ultrasound determined Jenny is about 8 weeks along. At this point its somewhat hard to tell what you are looking at but we did get to see a heartbeat! That's my grand Baby! I think he has eyes.lol. That's not a baby!

Tuesday, October 20, 2009. On October 15, 2009 at 2:38am a little angel Jaxon Thomas weighing 8lbs 2oz and 21 1/2" long was delivered to us! Jenny and I both could'nt be more happy! Nick, Jenny and Jaxon Uhri. Oh sweetie. i will keep him and you two in my prayers. Please keep us updated. he has strong parents so i know he can make it through anything! The Schafer Family Stories. Friday, December 26, 2008. Its Christmas once again and we are soooo thankful. We are thankful for our loved ones and happy to be getting through these hard times. We were very thankful to spend the holiday with the ones we love but really missed some who were far away. Next year we will be home. I cannot believe that I have not put my tree up for three years! The Schafer Family Stories. Monday, July 27, 2009. Another year goes by, another trip to the Beach House in Santa Cruz. This year Gyttie. And her family joined with myself, Chads family and Jeff with Tim were all there. The kids had fun as usual. They went for an early night swim (ill advised by the older kids and warned by the adults). They of course came back freezing, and there was no re occurrence. Of that. The Schafer Family Stories. Sunday, January 11, 2009. Jan 2009 Skiing in Lake Tahoe. Here we are, we all made it up to Lake Tahoe for a ski trip. Jon and Christine flew in from Phoenix, the rest of us drove up. The weather could not have been better, bright blue skies and tons of white snow. We could not be denied. I wont bore you with numbers, was first on the list. We picked up anything that we thought would help, having no real plan for the project, and trying to keep in mind that a 4 th. Grader was supposed to accomplish this at home with things "lying around the house". That's a farce. Graders out there, may the force be with you.
