Sunday, August 30, 2009. Sang six songs at the Salvation Army in Hadleigh today, and was for the first time accompanied for half of them by my brother on guitar. He did really well. Singing so many songs is hard work, but a lot of fun and it seemed to go down well :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Charlotte's Web: Hair today, gone tomorrow...
http://charlottestillsweb.blogspot.com/2008/01/hair-today-gone-tomorrow.html
Tuesday, 8 January 2008. Hair today, gone tomorrow. Yay, I have found a much better time-wasting activity than bread-making, though one that can only really be done once a month at the most without having dire consequences ie. becoming bald. Today I got my hair cut.on a whim.without really putting all that much thought into it (ahem, that hour on the vogue website doesnt count). And suprisingly enough I like it! Hi Charlotte, I ment to tell u on Katies Birthday, I liked your hair too! What am I up to?

mitchenstein: Walthamstow! (Part Two)
http://mitchenstein.blogspot.com/2009/09/walthamstow-part-two.html
Tuesday, September 01, 2009. One of the teams had the task of sorting out this:. And it's always amazing what sort of things end up in a place like this:. This rather fancy coat:. Chris with a corps flag from Chingford - anyone know when the corps in Chingford closed? Anyway, I'm a firm believer that there'll be another need for a Chingford flag at some point in the future, but I think we'll let them have a new one. I REALLY wanted to take this crest home. And quite a few stepladders. 當女人如同現在這樣般哭泣,...

http://mitchenstein.blogspot.com/2010/04/crossing-atlantic-part-one.html
Friday, April 09, 2010. Crossing the Atlantic: Part One. It's been a really long time since I updated this, although I have written a few posts I haven't got round to, well, posting yet. But I really enjoy this blogging malarky, and it's been a great way of keeping a record of the non-academic side of my PhD travels, so I'm going to stick with it! I'll add the earlier posts later on, but for now, happy reading! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A blog is where you write down the thoughts you have that ...

Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Crossing the Atlantic: Part Three. Yes, this post is out of sync, but I had to wait for the photos. I'll put. It in its right place in a little while. So now, you have to imagine I'm back in the Faroe Islands. Whic. H, if you're located anywhere other than the Faroe Islands or Denmark, where I actually am, you might actually think I was anyway). I felt very sorry for the people who had already spoken really well of the cuff - that's very hard to repeat! Me giving it some on my eu...

mitchenstein: Walthamstow! (Part One)
http://mitchenstein.blogspot.com/2009/08/walthamstow-part-one.html
Monday, August 31, 2009. OK, so it's been a little while since I blogged (but as I took so long to get all the Faroese stuff up, you've had a nice lot to read over the summer! But here's something a little more recent. A group of young people from The Salvation Army in our region went to Walthamstow for the day (can anyone hear that name without thinking of East 17? Or am I just showing my age there? So here's a few pictures from the day:. The upstairs team (which included me) await their instructions:.

mitchenstein: December 2006
http://mitchenstein.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 23, 2006. I'm sure you won't have failed to notice that today is Mitchenstein's six-month birthday! Happy Birthday Mitchenstein. Over that time we've cut our hair, bought some goats, discovered the greatest. Of all time, dressed up as characters from. Lord of the Rings. Pretended to be top French horn players, rubbed shoulders with celebrities, travelled to random islands, lost plant friends, featured on t-shirts and looked for toilets in Hendon. Here's to the next six months! Well con...
