MiaMfi photography, webdesign, life. Search and Rescue dog Vinski. Today was a fun day, even though the weather in Finland is pretty depressing – warm, wet and the well-waited snow is melting away. This year I’ll continue photographing Search and Rescue dogs. I have utmost respect for them and their handlers because of the valuable work they do for us – without them many lost persons wouldn’t have been found in time. They save lives. Today I wanted to do something really hard and take shots of Mikko’s Otso – a black German Shepherd – after we’ve finished training. I think I did pretty good for my first try :). A lot of my friends have kids and for some time now I’ve wanted to learn how to photograph them (or Those as I call them ). There are SOOO many people who have asked me if. The Rock of Soukka. Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.

The first victim of this project was my lovely (and the world’s greatest dog) Helmi, 13,5 yo German shepherd. I will not reveal the project’s theme and goal just yet, but maybe you can imagine it from these :). More about this project later on. Thanks Tommi for all your help, this couldn’t have been done without you!
