Tibet | randomProjects

Around the World Itinerary. Archive for the ‘Tibet’ Category. One picture is better than none. June 3, 2010. Just emerged from behind the great firewall of china in full force around Tibet. Such an amazing place even with the gazillion checkpoints, spies, CCTV and men/boys with guns. Here’s a taster picture (can only upload pics from this iPhone at the mo), Mt Everest, 4k from base camp at altitude of about 5200m. I spent two days here in the crystal clear air, finally realising a dream! April 19, 2010.

Around the World Itinerary. Around the World Itinerary. This was a pretty amazing trip. We started off in Mexico, going back on ourselves to Bermuda (don’t ask) then off around South America, across to Easter Island, Cook Islands, bit of NZ and OZ, Hong Kong madness then back via Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. We had wanted to end up in Nepal and then Tibet but ticket issues meant this wasn’t meant to be😦. Nepal (cancelled due to ticket issues! Tibet (cancelled due to ticket issues! I made a map! You a...

Around the World Itinerary. Archive for April, 2013. It’s been a while! April 15, 2013. Yes it’s been a while since I have posted anything here but we have had a baby so that’s a pretty good excuse. Now woking on a book of our Tibet trip of 2010. As with all these book making attempts (Iceland and USA Roadtrip) it’s for personal use only, generally suited only to the shelf in the carsie but hopefully interesting to some out there. More to follow! Subscribe to Random Projects by Email. My one and only book.

Saturday, May 24, 2008. Dreamcast Cooling fan modification / repair. Even though it's a pretty dated system, I still play my Sega Dreamcast a fair bit. It's really too bad it was such a short-lived system, but even still, the Dreamcast has a high proportion of excellent quality games. Unfortunately, aging systems sometimes need repairs. The fan in my machine started to sound pretty bad with its high pitched whine. To make the pulse generator circuit, I followed the schematics at this site:. With this cir...
