I could relate to this book in many ways, namely growing up in a tiny town and having a best friend who was transgendered. Overall this was a great read about the kinds of things that people who fall under the LGBTQ spectrum have to put up with on a daily basis, both from parents and the community around them. Just picked up the Temple Wars book! Book 1 is fascinating and had me engaged from page one!

However, putting all of the little annoyances I had with this book aside, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a thrilling novel with many questions to be answered. Marti's Delicious Apple Cheesecake. 1 pouch cookie mix (the recipe called for oatmeal, couldn't find it so I used sugar). 16 oz cream cheese, softened (I used the lightest one). 1 21oz can fruit pie filling (I used apple). Preheat oven to 350. Cut butter into cookie mix till crumbly. Save 1 1/2 cup for topping, press remaining into a 13X 9 baking dish sprayed with Pam. Bake 10 minutes, cool. Spread over baked crust.
