http://jintus.blogspot.com/p/my-reads.html
This is the story of my nontraditional transformation from a Physics/Spanish/Chemistry/Math grad into a physician. I'm a proud member of the class of 2016 at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine. The blog title will be edited to reflect the current stage of my transformation: Pre-Medical, Medical, Residential, then Doctoral. Read more about me in the My Story tab below. Enjoy! Life on the Peninsulas: March 2014
http://mipeninsulas.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. On Friday, our last full day in Washington, we decided to take Jonah to the Zoo. We went to the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. Jonah had a fun time looking at all the animals. I did too actually. I hadn't been to a zoo in years. We saw a musk ox. My favorite, the Arctic Fox. The Walrus was surprisingly cool. He was swimming back and forth across the glass. Evertime his stomach would brush up against the glass, all his fat would ripple. This wa...

Saturday, January 26, 2013. Breaking the Air Wave Silence. So, It's been too long since I've written any thing on here. But now it's time to break the air wave silence. As of now, I've gone through every review question for this section once. And I plan to go through them at least once more before I actually take the test. But for now, I'm taking a break. Not going to touch the study materials at all this week end. Being bundled to the point of not being able to move has got to be frustrating. Picture Wi...

Life on the Peninsulas: December 2013
http://mipeninsulas.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 27, 2013. Dreams of a White Christmas come True. It just doesn't feel like Christmas if there isn't snow. The past few years have been quite disappointing, with green and brown patches all around. I was very excited this year that there was no shortage of snow on Christmas. Obviously, I had to go out to photograph the winter wonderland. Beyond the snow, Christmas was great. We had family in from out of town. It was fun to catch up with them. Tuesday, December 17, 2013. I haven't blogged ...

Thursday, May 15, 2014. I thought I'd re-share that post since I think that it will be helpful in answering the types of questions I've been getting lately. The All-Important, Not so Holy, Trinity of Photogaphy. For some of you, this will be old information, but hopefully for others this will be new. Either way, I hope this will help you understand a little more about photography and your camera. My Canon 40 D. Wheel that adjusts aperture. Wheel that adjusts shutter speed. Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Discovering the Focal Point: November 2012
http://discoveringthefocalpoint.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 23, 2012. A Very Thankful Video Friday. I came across a short blog post this morning, and I enjoyed it. So I'm going to share it. I grabbed it from here. Just to give credit where credit is due. If you ask people what they’re most thankful for in life, three things nearly always come out on top. Not their car (even if it’s a hybrid), their shiny new ultrathin laptop or a 700-fill-power goose down ski jacket. Surveys consistently find. What can we do to reset the balance? Here’s a s...
