Sammy (ES2007S): August 2008
http://sammyes2007s.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 30, 2008. The following is a summary of some ideas and methods suggested in the two reference books. I agreed it is a bit long, hopefully you find some ideas useful. As a summary, to resolve a conflict one needs to be always creative while looking for solutions, be prepared for unexpected outcomes and always control the anger. Finally, one should always tackle the problem from the right angle (level). I witnessed the incident below during my summer holiday’s full time job. B thought that...
Stop Talking! Communicate!: November 2008
http://smljlyon.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 10, 2008. At the beginning of this course, I have stated that. Communication is the imparting or interchange of thoughts, opinions, or information by speech, writing, or signs, between 2 or more parties (as defined by www.dictionary.com) and throughout the course, if there was any change to my value of effective communication, it probably grew stronger. One of the reasons why this module has been so enjoyable is because it allowed us to really interact and communicate with one another, u...

http://talkshowon-mute.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
My sisters and I. MY OTHER BLOGGING BUDDIES. So you don't know where you're going, and you want to talk. And you feel like you're going where you've been before. You tell anyone who'll listen but you feel ignored. Nothing's really making any sense at all. Let's talk, let's talk. Let's talk, let's talk. Lyrics from Talk, by Coldplay-. Friday, September 26, 2008. 15 minutes passed. No signs of more people coming. When we boarded the bus 15 minutes earlier. Suddenly, he walked towards us and held out a list...

Saturday, September 27, 2008. Cultural Differences: Is it safe to cross the zebra crossing? I have studied in Singapore for almost 2.25 years now and from the time I spend in Singapore, I noticed that people in Singapore strictly follow rules. This may not be interesting for some but for me who came from my little island, Penang, it is definitely a new cultural experience. For example, in Singapore, when you use the zebra-crossing to cross the road, cars actually STOP for you! Saturday, September 6, 2008.

Saturday, October 11, 2008. I am glad to announce that our project is nearing its completion! With the main part behind us, all that is left to would be checking for language and format details. Allow me a brief moment of relaxation. With a BIG sigh of relief of course :. Since I have little exposure to other "worlds" I was quite daunted when Brad show us how the report format would be. I kept thinking: that shouldn't be acceptable, the labeling is wrong, shouldn't it be this way? I guess in a way this i...

Random thoughts from a random man. Sunday, August 2, 2015. World Without A Superman. I think it’s time to give Superman a little love before September. What’s funny is that the trade I’ll be looking at today doesn’t feature Superman in any major capacity. For those who don’t know, World Without A Superman. Next up is this storyline that continues from the moments after Superman’s bout with Doomsday. The issues in it are Superman. 76-77, The Adventures of Superman. 498-500, Superman: The Man of Steel.

Random Thoughts.......
Sunday, June 7, 2015. Yesterday I had the opportunity to hang out with a good friend. We ventured to midtown to a vegan restaurant called "Cafe Sunflower" - it did not disappoint. Well it was 95 yesterday, and the berry lemonade was freaking amazing. I forgot to take a picture of the menu, so I totally forgot what I had to eat. I looked it up online, but they constantly change their menu, which is so epically cool, I can't handle it. Vegan cheese still weirds me out,. I'm sorry. I just can't handle it.

More Random Thoughts
Saturday, August 29, 2009. I have been pondering the entire concept of worldly wisdom. And worry. About many things, but especially, for this blog, about material possessions. Jesus only mentions food and clothing. But doesn’t that just about sum it up? Possibly anything more is extra and certainly not worthy of worry. Note that it says you cannot. Not that you should not. Ladies - (and some of you gents) - where are we here? Again, let's be honest. 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? 30 Wherefore, i...

Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Relationships. I'd like to ask Professor X about them (rather than asking Dr. Phil, for example). Maybe cause I'd really like to know how real, mutant, out-of-this-world superheroes would usually solve their romantic disputes and ask for forgiveness for their un-human mistakes. Would they say "I'm sorry, I'm a mutant", "Is not you, its my planet"? Or maybe for those from this world, made by especial circumstances, an "I'm sorry honey, I was bitten by the wrong spider" would suffice.

Monday, August 13, 2012. Day 5- Our last day. Day 5 originally was a free day, but since day 2 didn't go as planned we were able to reschedule the Winchester Mystery House for today. I chose to do the Grand Estate Tour which includes the Mansion Tour and the Behind-the-Scenes Tour. Stairs to the ceiling. This room is somewhat of a green house, but why the window in the floor? Personal blog for friends and family. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Grandma has it good! Teaching Fisher to brush his teeth was some of the most fun I had in Alaska, and AK is a very fun place. I highly recommend the salmon fishing in Valdez. I am very excited to meet my newest grandson. Having two little men is more then I could've hoped for. I will be glad when Lizzy gets all this pregnant stuff behind her. It is a mother/grandma's job to worry and I am no slacker in that regard. Monday, July 28, 2008.

Those who dance are thought to be quite insane by those who do not hear the music. Monday, January 23, 2012. Brigham Has A Birthday! I went through the pictures I have of Brigham over the past year plus a little. It's amazing how a little boy can change into a big boy in such a short period of time. Happy Birthday Brigham! Brigham just a little over a year ago. Brigham and his big sisters. He has one little sister too. A pause in the play. Brigham loves his dad and wants to be just like him.

Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Healing, Lynne McTaggart. Science has demonstrated that by thinking certain thoughts it is possible for us to alter and enlarge portions of our brains to become a larger, more powerful receiver. But is it also possible to develop a larger transmitter. To discover some of the qualities that enhance transmission, I would have to study 'masters' of intention who were particularly gifted at transmitting. The best place to look seemed to be among talented healers. Tear in Your Hand".
