We had almost a week in June where the temps were over 100 with heat indexes around 110-115. And it hasn't rained since Memorial Day weekend. At least, not more that 10 or 15 minute showers. Between the fish eating vegetation and the compost and waste products from the fish to fertilize the plants, it is pretty much a closed system that supports itself. Another variation I read about had a worm farm incorporated into it and the fish being used were catfish that ate the worms and the castings were leached to fertilize the garden beds. Growing your own food.

My goal is to eventually get to the point where I only have to go to the store, maybe, once a month. But that is still a couple of years off. Good evening family, Just a few of the photos leaving Yellowstone from Old Faithful Inn out the Northeast Gate of the Park. We have seen 100s of buffalo, many elk, deer, wolf, and horses. We have experienced snow, sleet, sunshiny, warm blue sky and white clouds as we traveled on top of a volcano and enjoyed every minute! Love, jack and sue. Between Tower and NE gate in Lamar Valley.
