Random Thoughts of a Mother. Monday, August 27, 2012. Carbs and more Carbs. My little girl who is sick can't sleep. At first it was driving me nuts because it is 9pm and that is MY time. After a few times of getting after her and trying to get her to go to sleep I had an ah- hah moment. Maybe I should do a sugar test. Voila she was 3.1, LOW with 2.5U of insulin on board!
