A geek's thoughts on various stuff. Photos from the expedition of a lifetime. Earlier this year I went on a 5 week journey to Antarctica, via South Georgia and the Falkland Islands (and Ascension Island, sort of). In all I took over 11,000 photos and about 60GB of video which I’ve yet to start editing. Wednesday, 8th May, 2013. Sunday, 5th June, 2016.

I've spent a number of years in the rat race, only to find that the sweetest moments are usually the slowest, when we take a moment to enjoy our surroundings and companions.
