Sow with hope, reap with humility. Thursday, May 22, 2014. Dear Prayer Partners,. We hope this finds you all doing well and enjoying nice temperatures in the States. We are actually experiencing a "cool" day today in Niger. It is below 100 degrees! It's 99 to be exact. But it's still below 100! We had a nice, big rain on Sunday evening that keep sprinkling into yesterday morning and the cloud cover has stayed around for another day. Our Africans friends say it's cold outside! That ALL may know HIM,.

Seeking the Songhai: The Songhai Team
http://seekingthesonghai.blogspot.com/p/songhai-team.html
Sow with hope, reap with humility. The Songhai team is part of the International Mission Board's Sub-Saharan African Affinity Group - a grouping of over 600 million people. Our Songhai Team is included in the Central Sahel Cluster. The facts are that out of our cluster as a whole (about 8 West African countries) we have over 1000 people groups who have nearly the same number of languages. Less than two percent of the population is considered evangelized! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Praying for the Songhai.

Stories from our life in Africa. Sunday, August 04, 2013. I'm a bit of a perfectionist (shocking, I know! A bit of a procrastinator (what? Yes, yes . it's all true. I take procrastinating to a whole new level . just ask my college roomies who saw me stay up all night to cram for exams or write papers. Or, better yet, ask my husband who knows that I'm a "down to the wire" kinda gal. I don't know where I get it from, but it's there and built into my DNA. Posted by the Phillips. Stories from our life in Africa. Monday, May 20, 2013. Happy 5th Birthday Isabelle! My baby is FIVE! Now, this is just crazy! Stories from our life in Africa. Friday, June 20, 2014. We stopped at a “restaurant” on the way down to the beach for some omelets. Now, when I say “restaurant” the picture that immediately comes to your mind is miles away from the picture that comes to my mind and the reality of the situation. The restaurant was a table and a couple chairs under a hanger. But while we were there Luke realized he needed to go to the bathroom. He led Luke and I out of the “restaurant” and down the street a bit. For instan...
