After a night on the Ferry from Port-Aux-Basques to Sydney. Interesting night as we sailed the North Atlantic on the tail of Hurricane Ida. Randy's Olympic Torch Relay. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Arrivée de la flamme/Flame arrival in Victoria! Alors la voici la voilà! Elle est finalement chez nous! Que d'émotions. Je me retrouve en 1976 à 7 ans au Stade Olympique à Montréal! C'est un moment magique. Un moment qui m'a fait penser que lors des dernières années quand je regardais ces cérémonies à la TV et j'étais pris d'émotions, ce n'étais rien a comparer à ce que j'ai vécu aujourd'hui! Alors c'est partis mon KIKI! Il n'en reste que 188 :-).

We visited many of NB great communities such as Saint-John, Oromocto, Miramichi, Fredericton, Moncton, Grand Falls/Grand-Saults, Edmunston and Shediac. And what can we say about our Acadian friends but magic! What a spectacular Frenglish! Our First Nation Flame attendant Dina has educated us on the subtleties of the lingo!
