Rantings From a Crazy Chef

Rantings From a Crazy Chef. Monday, April 5, 2010. There are certain ingredients and flavors that we crave when we are feeling under the weather. Some of us have a thing for tomato soup and grilled cheese. Others crave tuna sandwiches. And let's face it, everyone think of chicken noodle soup first. For me, I'll take the flavors and comfort of Mushrooms and Ginger over any of these. After an hour of the house smelling like heaven, I couldn’t take it anymore and decided it was time. Sunday, November 28, 2010. Latest carving and our new front yard. Finished up my latest carving yesterday. It’s a pinecone Christmas ornament carved from pine (I think). I think it turned out pretty well. Also, we had the pine tree in our front yard removed about two weeks ago. It’s nice to finally have a front yard to play in. Here is a before and after and then a couple pics of the process. Friday, November 12, 2010. Josh’s mad carving skills….wood, pumpkins its all the same). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saturday, August 6, 2011. Emma starting taking unassisted steps about three weeks ago and well, as of this week she has no problem getting around the house. We’re all trying to adjust to having a tiny little girl sneaking up behind us. She’s so small that I think you could breath and knock her over so its been a bit of a challenge, but its so much fun seeing kids grow and develop. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Whitmer Family: February 2013

http://whitmer-family.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Sunday, February 10, 2013. Oh yeah, I have a blog. Well, its been a loooong time since I’ve posted anything. Here are some of the highlights of the last 9 months! Our family had a super fun summer last year with lots of outings to the park, bike rides, and tennis games. We got to spend 4 days at Lake Powell in July. Our kids loved swimming in the lake, boating, tubing, making Indian-esque houses, and playing on the inflatable islands. I LOVE Bei Jing! I feel so blessed to have parents (on both sides) who...

The Whitmer Family: February 2011

http://whitmer-family.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Sunday, February 27, 2011. The kids are definitely growing. Matt is officially potty trained. I’m pretty impressed with him, I don’t think he’s had an accident during the night for over two weeks (however if he has I’m not the one that would wake up and deal with it so I can’t promise I’m accurate in my assumption). I think we are all pretty excited for the weather to warm up so we can start playing outside. We did have a nice couple of days last week when we got to take the kids out and swing.

Rantings from a muppet. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. I've been playing with mashups. No, I haven't gone mad with the potoato masher - a mashup is a web application that uses content (think images, video, music, etc) from more than one source to create a more interesting display/ outcome.
