About Me and Books That Have Changed My Life. Eleanor and Park – Rainbow Rowell. July 6, 2015 · 1:52 PM. Home by Carson Ellis. Seeing as most of my reading gets done cuddled up to my son before he goes to bed. I thought I would start reviewing some of the adorable books we’ve come across and I thought I would start off with one of his favourites. By Carson Ellis is beautifully illustrated by Carson herself. On the final page the passage goes, “This is my home and this is me. Where is your home? Who would...

About Me and Books That Have Changed My Life. Eleanor and Park – Rainbow Rowell →. January 14, 2015 · 3:15 PM. The Martian (Novel) by Andy Weir. From page 2 of this book I was hooked. It’s compelling, funny and very suspenseful! It’s been called a mash-up between Apollo 11 and Castaway. I don’t know how I feel about Mark Watney. He’s a genius and was extremely innovative when he needed to be. But his personality seemed that of a college frat boy. I guess you could caulk it up to a man not car...You will ...

Reading on Planet Caddick: April 2011
http://readingonplanetcaddick.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Reading on Planet Caddick. My 2011 Reading Challenges. Saturday, April 30, 2011. Killing Bridezilla by Laura Levine. Yes, I just started this book last night. And yes, I'm now done with it. It was just that good to me. And with lines like "I woke up the next morning nursing a Chunky Monkey hangover." and "I turned to see Walter and his hamster hair." what's not to love? Laura Levine makes Jaine Austen a completely real and believable person. I love that. I checked this book out from my local library.

But there were still a couple of laugh out loud moments. You don’t have to admit it, but I know Kelly and I aren’t the only ones). I guess she is trying to reach all audiences, because depending on where you are in life, you will be able to connect on some level with at least one part of her book. Overall, this was funny...

Reading on Planet Caddick. My 2011 Reading Challenges. Saturday, July 30, 2011. Trying to move blogs. I've been trying to move this blog over to wordpress. I know I moved everything here earlier this year - but I really enjoy having the separate identities of my family blog and my reading blog. With both of them on Blogger I don't really have that. I don't know if I'm sold on WP. I'm trying to figure it out - but sometimes it's just so confusing! Enjoy the rest of summer and a few good books! We are leav...
