Just a little - and sometimes a lot - about us to help keep in touch with family and friends. Aren't you glad you asked? Sunday, August 24, 2008. With Apologies . . . It's been quite a while since we updated, so this is a longitudinal post. Back in March we bought and painted a house! Then we got immediately busy with work, and decorating, and filling up our Spring / Summer with new fun outdoor activities, then more work. Nobody likes work though, so I'll skip to the more interesting stuff. But people di...

Just a little - and sometimes a lot - about us to help keep in touch with family and friends. Aren't you glad you asked? Friday, August 31, 2007. A Trip to the Farms. Before it has even begun, summer is coming to an end. With almost constant rain and cooler temperatures, it feels like we went from Spring to Fall. Nonetheless, we managed to sneak in a little "vacation" home to Ottawa for a visit and to celebrate Carl's 40th birthday! And yes, the 12' scarf made an appearance! Bruno - unable to escape!

Just a little - and sometimes a lot - about us to help keep in touch with family and friends. Aren't you glad you asked? Friday, June 29, 2007. How awful it is that I haven’t posted in so long? Let's start with a beautiful photo of me and Kirsten when I was in Calgary last month for her birthday - she loves it when I post pictures of us :). Let’s see, I’m no longer in the OR training course – boo! But we are ahead enough to finally take our honeymoon, so we are off to Hawaii next Friday for a week! IR...

Just a little - and sometimes a lot - about us to help keep in touch with family and friends. Aren't you glad you asked? Sunday, July 5, 2009. New Year's at Point No Point. We decided to celebrate the beginning of 2009 in a relaxed setting away from the city. We rented a cabin at Point no Point. Introduced to us by Jason and Bonnie). It was quiet and fun and amazing. And we're going back again this year! We had 3 couples, lots of good food and drink, a puzzle, and a bunch of games. The view from the deck.
Tilgneroots: David's 30th

Just a little - and sometimes a lot - about us to help keep in touch with family and friends. Aren't you glad you asked? Friday, August 7, 2009. Yep - it's happened. He's 30. Carl came for a visit - which was almost a surprise, but David can sniff out a secret anywhere. Makes it very hard to surprise him. Anyway, it was a great time. We went to White Rock for dinner. Great food. Cold weather. We also had a party at our place. First bbq of the year! Sam and Lucy's mum. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Just a little - and sometimes a lot - about us to help keep in touch with family and friends. Aren't you glad you asked? Monday, March 31, 2008. Settling in . . . sort of . . . Don't ask David if it feels like home to him yet (he says no). But don't worry, he'll come around : ) I'm convinced it will happen once we've hosted our first bbq. In the meantime, we have done some things to make it our own. Like paint! Here is the outside (we are second from the left in this pic). The other side of it. View my c...

Just a little - and sometimes a lot - about us to help keep in touch with family and friends. Aren't you glad you asked? Friday, August 7, 2009. This is going to sound like a very presumptuous post, but people are asking so we will answer. What do you need for the baby? For anyone interested in helping us prep and outfit our baby room (and let's face it, every room is the baby's room : ), here is a list of things that we still need / would like:. Crib sheets other linens. Baby monitor (audio only). As yo...

Just a little - and sometimes a lot - about us to help keep in touch with family and friends. Aren't you glad you asked? Monday, July 16, 2007. Checked off the List. After years of bugging, David finally got me out on the Capilano Suspension Bridge earlier this month. It was less scary than I anticipated, but I still wanted to punch the (inevitable) little boy who had to jump up and down to make the bridge bounce! David's dad came with us - and he'd never been before either. Sam and Lucy's mum. Baby Proo...

Just a little - and sometimes a lot - about us to help keep in touch with family and friends. Aren't you glad you asked? Friday, February 15, 2008. On the Subject of . . . Hi Family and Friends! Some of you have bits and pieces of this information already, but here is an official update to bring everyone up to speed. The outdoor space on the back of the house was the key selling point! So, David and Jamie are almost legitimate homeowners! This summer will be jam-packed with bbq-ing, playing with our dog ...

Another Final Blog By The Same Old Rob Adcox. Reading For The Banally Retentive. Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Recently my mother asked me what I'd like for my birthday. That's a loaded question for a guy who dreams of owning his own machine shop so he can "repurpose" shopping carts into room-for-one vehicles capable of topping one-hundred fifty miles per hour. This thing didn't. It bounced. Enter the new Hoover. Two shades lighter than I remembered. And the smell! What I had originally thought was a sinu...
