PARTS THAT CAN BE REBUILT. The underside of rapier heads can be built up again to original thickness. There needs to be sufficient original body left to allow brazing. Any other damages are subject to examination. A crack on the side can sometimes be successfully re-enforced without adding much extra weight to the rapier. Bent, deformed rapiers are usually beyond help. Send them along anyway as "organ donors". The grippers (clamp lever) on the new heads contain Titanium and reject all brazing attempts.
