http://raptorresource.blogspot.com/2015/07/decorah-eagles-n2-and-our-plans.html

Raptor Resource Project Blog. Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Decorah: the eagles, N2, and our plans. So what's going to happen next? Birds predict weather change and adjust behaviour by reading barometric pressure. Now is the time to ma...

Raptor Resource Project Blog. Friday, August 07, 2015. What Bob Anderson Meant to Me - Mainecoonlady. A post from a follower that I wanted to share. I watched these magnificent creatures build up the nest, mate, produce beautiful eggs that hatched into these precious little white fluffy bobbleheads. To this day their sweetness brings tears every year. I watched them eat, sleep and grow. I waited breathlessly for the wingersizing, worried in the snow and the rain (yeah. I know NWZ! You gave me peace in tu...

TrulandPhoto Blog: Odds and Ends

http://trulandphoto.blogspot.com/2015/08/odds-and-ends.html

Friday, August 14, 2015. Here's a varied bunch of odds and ends from the past week. First, you can make HDR composites that aren't over the top and look pretty natural. But which bring the dynamic range in a scene which your eyes see but which your camera doesn't capture in a single frame. This is a three file HDR with the 7D and 24-70mm f/2.8L lens. Both shots are at 400mm, f/8 and 400 ISO. There is, unfortunately, no way to avoid the power lines in shots made from this particular bridge. Visit this Blo...
