Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Riverdance and Vasily. an Irish wedding experience. This weekend I went back to Ireland to celebrate the marriage of my beautiful cousin Roisin to her very lucky and equally wonderful husband Dean. It was the second O'Dwyer family wedding in three weeks and I was very excited about what lay ahead. The weekend didn't let me down! Everyone was aware of him. He was the hot topic of conversation. It was all terribly awkward. With our own Michael Flatley. Oh Did I mention the strawboys.

I go to a few classes where the instructors are trying so hard to engage with the class by asking questions or throwing out one-liners, and often they are met with a bunch of open-mouthed, wide-eyed stares, and me yelling, "I'M FEELING GREAT THANK YOU FOR ASKING! If your instructor talks, talk back!

Saturday, December 1, 2012. Disaster Scones: The Dangers of Baking After Midnight. So at the crack of 11:30pm, I get together my ingredients, locate my bowls and various measuring devices, pull up the Pinterest recipe, and commence. The first step seems easy enough: I add the dry ingredients to a bowl. Flour, sugar, and salt. Being budget savvy, I really can't bear to waste an entire bowl of dry ingredients, particularly as a result of my own pure stupidity. Seeing it is now midnight, I surrender to the ...
