Elisa's Place: December 2014
http://elisasblogspot.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. This Christmas Eve was different for our family. We have always been either with my parents at their home (or cabin) or Darin's parent's home Christmas Eve through Christmas and usually beyond. We say our Christmas tradition is alternating which family traditions we do! However, Mark and his friend Esme were flying in from Korea so this was the first time we had ever stayed in our own home on Christmas Eve! The flight came in right on schedule! We looked into where to eat dinn...

tookiecramer: happy birthdays...
http://tookiecramer.blogspot.com/2012/01/you-say-its-your-birthday-its-my.html
Our life.read and discuss. Friday, January 13, 2012. Da na na na na na, you say it's your birthday! Da na na na na na, it's my birthday too yeah! It's that time of year in my house. It's insanity, but we survived. I am (gulp) THIRTY-SIX. And Eddie is now FIVE. In all the birthday preparation this year I discovered pre-packaged fondant, which allows even a hack like myself, to make some pretty cute cakes. This was a good thing as my kids were pretty specific about what kind of cake they had in mind. I kep...

Dancing Through Life: August 2010

Sunday, August 22, 2010. Super Long and Pic Overload! Here's a couple of events for the Tatton. Things that make the summer go by way to quickly! The month started off with the CHS. Jr Drill Camp. Tater isn't technically. Old enough, but I teach them ballet so, hey! I was a little. Scared she'd be hard to handle but she loved it! All 2 hours both days! She kept wanting to go back and she loved the girls in charge of her group. I was impressed with them. Those. We had family pics on the 6 th. Lots of mixe...

Elisa's Place: Major Howard Egan
http://elisasblogspot.blogspot.com/2015/07/major-howard-egan.html
Tuesday, July 07, 2015. Major Howard Egan was an Irish immigrant, rope maker, sailor, Mormon, pioneer, body guard, pony express rider, murderer, and Darin's great great great grandfather. I think just about in that order. The thing that makes him great is that he seems to have had more grit and endurance than most of us. The reunion was like no reunion I have ever attended! It was all very interesting, and the kids loved This Is The Place. It was especially fun to be there with cousins!

Saturday, July 26, 2014. What in the holy heck am I doing blogging 12:10 am? I have stuff to accomplish tomorrow! I need to go grocery shopping/gear gathering/pack for girls camp tomorrow morning, find my camp schedule (where in the world? Finish the laundry, pack the kids, get together a Sunbeam lesson, figure out a skit, and make a dozen phone calls. But you know what I did tonight instead of tackling any one of those things on my list? Until then, here is a glimpse of July. Iddy Biddy Ball for Soren.

Elisa's Place: MARY POPPINS
http://elisasblogspot.blogspot.com/2015/08/mary-poppins.html
Wednesday, August 05, 2015. The play that took over the last 2 weeks of July! Such a fun experience for Miriam and I since I "got to" to help with props and make-up. I say "got to" because I would lose $100 deposit if I didn't help. It is fun though, to be apart of something and feel needed so it's required, hard, and fun all at the same time. Fun, and exhausting, and hard on everyone but mostly the boys and dad at home. The 2 weeks started with the Farmington City Parade. And performance in the park.
