08 March 2009 @ 11:28 pm. Lily has been sick again. She had respiratory problems (runny nose and cough) for a week or so, then she started vomiting Friday morning. She continued getting sick all day Friday, and barely kept anything down at all. Anyway, she was so bad off that we called the doc Friday night and she said we should bring Lily in on Saturday. It is dark; you are likely to be eaten by a grue. Mary laid her on my belly and all of a sudden it all became very very real.what all that growing and kicking and pain and pushing had been for. I was shocked that I had just given birth to a baby,a living person. Chris was all teary and we just sort of stared at her and each other for a while. There was all sorts of uncomfortableness surrounding the business of finishing off the birth (placenta and stitches, and lots of external pushing on my abdomen).
