Ginger Lucy: August 2008
http://gingerlucy.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Knitting, baking, larking about in the city and all sorts of other antics. Sunday, 31 August 2008. Dear god, I'm a sorry excuse for a blogger, aren't I? Somehow the summer hasn't been conducive to blogging Chez. Ginger - a combination of weddings (planning for my own and going to others), parties (again, both at home and elsewhere), a funeral (of which more later), serious amounts of exercise (well, serious for me, but it is working! The first pair to be finished were some that were on the needles for so...

Cake Friday: Jane: Banana Cake
http://cakefriday.blogspot.com/2007/08/jane-banana-cake.html
Friday, 10 August 2007. We were all looking forward to this one. The cake debut from the data team. And it turned out to be a banana cake, my favourite. I loved the dense, moist interior and the just-right level of banana-y-ness (you know what I mean). I had a couple of pieces. And so did a few other people. Nice work Ms Sharp. Cake Friday: What will we do with our planner? Matt's cake from M&S
http://cakefriday.blogspot.com/2007/08/what-will-we-do-with-our-planner-matts.html
Friday, 10 August 2007. What will we do with our planner? Matt's cake from M&S. We put our faith in him. We really did. We even gave him a chance when he didn't bake the week before. But unfortunately he didn't pull through for us. The cake from M&S was OK, but had that slightly funny bought cake taste to it. I guess it looked good though. I should probably say that you can't complain really, he did bring us fudge as well. And some cake is better than no cake. But, well, you know? I knew you'd understand.

Cake Friday: Abi: Victoria Sponge
http://cakefriday.blogspot.com/2007/08/abi-victoria-sponge.html
Friday, 10 August 2007. I had the day off when Abi made this one but popped in to sample the goods (all in the interests of keeping the blog up to date). The first three things that I was told (after enquiring after the cake) were:. I scoffed three pieces". Yeah, me too". I'm liking the photography as well, courtesy of Lizel. Cake Friday: June 2007
http://cakefriday.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Friday, 22 June 2007. James: Chocolate Treacle Cake. James Hough stepped up to the plate and hit a cake home run today with his spectacular Gary Rhodes inspired Chocolate Treacle Cake. The test of a good cake is whether there's any left by the end of the day - in this case it was all gone by 3pm. And people had started to eat the extra bits that James had baked in his practice cake baking session on Wednesday. A true success. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Cake Friday: Emma: Banoffee Pie
http://cakefriday.blogspot.com/2007/08/emma-banoffee-pie.html
Friday, 10 August 2007. Well, a rampant return to cake-creating form for the VW team came in the form of Banoffee pie from Emma. It's technically not a cake, but more of a dessert, so I consulted with the board of cake (which means I asked Abi) and we agreed that just this once we'd let it go. Quite glad we did in the end because it was delicious way to end the week. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Allrecipes Daily Recipes for Baking. Ginger Lucy: Baba Marta
http://gingerlucy.blogspot.com/2009/03/baba-marta.html
Knitting, baking, larking about in the city and all sorts of other antics. Monday, 2 March 2009. Last week a colleague asked me, out of the blue, "How long does it take for your wool to arrive? I blinked in slight confusion. To which particular wool of the many stash enhancement packages that arrive at my desk, er, several times a week, could she be referring? For wool, beads and other supplies, then spent an enjoyable lunch hour creating the ornaments. Other kinds of tassles and pom-poms are also fine&#...

Ginger Lucy: Knitting Update
http://gingerlucy.blogspot.com/2008/06/knitting-update.html
Knitting, baking, larking about in the city and all sorts of other antics. Friday, 27 June 2008. It's been absolutely ages since I mentioned any knitting on here, which is shameful given "knitting" is in big orange letters at the top of the page. But never fear, I have actually been knitting, just, er, not telling you about it. Sorry. Let's have a round-up of my recent projects then! Giant Green Clapotis - FO. Before I went to Ecuador I announced. That the Giant Green Clapotis. The photo session happened...
