Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Wild ponies and english rain. Monday, October 19, 2009. Friends are never far away. Here I am still on my incredible journey in the U.K. I am staying with a very dear friend who I met when she came to Canada for three years. The biking, swimming, eating pastries and sharing silly moments and 10 years later we are still doing the same - walking along the beach, sharing a bottle or two of fine wine and eating scrumptious. I will have my camera; I will capture those moments to share the beauty, the desolation, the cosmopolitan of all cities, the haunting of Stonehenge, the North Sea, the loneliness of the Orkneys. The jovial times of a pub and the aroma of fish and chips savoured. In the doorway out of the rain. I will write my daily journal that will be shared with others giving an intimate look into my travels. And so I approach the beginning of this incredible journey. Riding the rails again.
