The winters feel long on Lewis - the days are short, roughly from 9.30am - 3.30pm at midwinter and by March everyone is desperate for the grass to start growing. Saturday, 13 September 2008. My name is Lois and I have owned Gundogs. Since 1979 when i got my first English Springer Spaniel called Pooch son of Dapple, this was the start of my love for Gundogs. Which has just got stronger over the years. In 2004 I met and fell in love with a Bracco. A stunning Chestnut bitch and the breed record holder at a show in Hampshire little did I know then that within a year I would own her brother Homstar. Angelo (Rocco) and her daughter Homstar.
