Varje år firas traditionsenlig medsommar på ängen, som röjdes och besåddes med gräs för länge sedan. Stången kläds på midsommaraftonens förmiddag och reses på eftermiddagen. Dans kring stången och deltagande i lekarna belönas så småningom med glass och dricka efter behag. The same procedure every year.

På Ingmarsö arrangeras varje år, utom åren 2011-2012, första lördagen i juli, en rodd- och segeltävling för allmogebåtar kallad Sådrodden. Namnet kommer från det gamla namnet på skräpfisk, som förr kallades sådfisk. Start och mål är alltid vid södra Ingmarsö brygga och vanligtvis går banan motsols runt Ingmarsö. Besättningarna bär ofta tidstypiska kläder och hejas fram av stora skaror intresserade åskådare från såväl båtar som bryggor och stränder. Bilderna tagna av Jan Siösteen.
