What is a NXT? Ronald A. Williams Ltd. Is a robotics design system that is more advanced than the NXT. VEX used to have a level of competition in FIRST, but FIRST replaced it with. FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge). VEX has now created their own competition. VEX is designed for high school aged kids. It is a great system to go into after you outgrow FLL. All you need is a webcam, a PC with animation software (such as Stop Motion Animator), and something to animate. LEGOs are very fun to animate, as they have multiple joints, and will stay in place when connected to plates. Below is an example of stop motion animation.
