In the 1841 census he was a weaver with his surname again misspelt as Backlar, living at Chauntry Croft, Haverhill, along with two young children, George Backler. I never thought that I’d wake up at 4 am to see the sun rise over Asia’s largest temple, Angkor wot. We were very tired but it was worth it! We had hired a tuk tuk driver yesterday and he took us to the wot just as the sun rose on the horizon. Monkeys ran about stealing food and donkeys wandered around! Yesterday and the day befor we had an AwEsOmE day and we had lots to do so did not have time to do a blog but thought it was the perfect time to do it now as we are going to be sat on a bus for six hours and a half! So we are in Kampong Chnang and are about to leave our hotel to go to Phnom Penh. I am very excited as Phnom Penh is a very very very very busy place! Right, we are on the bus now and it is not the best but there was a bit of a disaster and I will tell you why… So someone told us to get on the bus at 10:45 So we were all ready at 10 o’clock then another person told us to arrive at 11:o’clock and then the bus arived at 12:o’clock! 🍝🍘🍘👈🏻that is kind of what they looked like! Kampong chnang 2 half hours.
