Membership of the cooperative shall be opened to all persons who are coconut farmers, working or residing within the Municipalities of Matanao, Bansalan, Magsaysay and Digos City, all of Davao del Sur. The application for membership shall be in writing on a form provided for the purpose and shall be presented to the board of directors for approval. Mortuary membership is open to all coconut farmers’ owners and coconut farm workers provided:. He/she is a member of BCMC who had subscribed at least a minimum of 5 shares equivalent to P500.00 or more. Filled up a mortuary membership form and paid the mortuary annual contribution. For a new member of BCMC contestability period for mortuary membership is three months after he/she has fully paid up the equivalent annual mortuary contribution. The mortuary benefit of BCMC covers any cause of accident.
