I chose to go with a very simple design that I could cut out by hand relatively easily. Each foot was glued to a bottom corner of the box using two clamps:. The corner inlays are also finished gluing and can now be sanded down. After sanding, everything is looking pretty good. The next step will be to glue the feet on and route the edges of the top. I only have a small hand router (no table) that isn’t really designed for this kind of work, so I had to get a bit creative and create my own guide in order to get a straight cut. April 13, 2014.

I’m slowly working in organizing it and obtaining some of the necessary tools, such as my new bandsaw and sliding compound miter.
