Just recently Cincinnati based, is a folk artist whose painting, drawings, and sculptures have an innocence backed up by backwoods wisdom. McFate takes have more of a folksy, high- spirited feel, but still break out of Blake enslavement pretty easily. His sick rose has a creepy sweet cast to it , a diorama that invites you into a Pee Wee Herman esque vision of the master visionary.
