Friday, November 26, 2010. Term 4, Week 7. Only 13 and half school days left of the 2010 school year. These days are disappearing so fast! This week saw the end of the Technology sessions at Makoura. Here are a few photo's showing the end products of the last round of sessions. See the neat aprons, special collection box, and bike trailor. The Year 8's attending Wairarapa College and Makoura College next year had their orientation morning on Friday. School was so quiet! We now know who the noisy ones are!

Saturday, December 4, 2010. Term 4, Week 8. In the countdown to the Christmas Holidays only 8 and half school days to go! What an awesome week, with camp on Thursday and Friday! We had loads of fun and the weather was kind, even though it was drizzly for much of Thursday it was warm and it didn't stop us from doing any of the fun activities. Saturday, July 31, 2010. Term 3, Week 2. Wow, what a busy but awesome week. The majority of us were involved in the Winter Music Show where we showcase our talent. So with practice, a matinee performance for other schools and an evening performance it has been a busy time. The show was fantastic. Friday, March 26, 2010. One week to go to the holidays. The first term is nearly at and end and it feels like we are just starting! The weather has held out to be a very warm Autumn and our swimming has made it for the whole first term! Next week swimming is optional, those not swimming will be doing a fitness lake walk. Sunday, February 28, 2010. What a busy week we have had! On Wednesday afternoon we had our swimming sports and the weather was perfect! Hot and sunny. Doesn't the water look inviting? It was great to see some of parents supporting the children. On Thursday night we had the second of school BBQ's. Again the weather was superb. Friday, October 29, 2010. Term 4, Week 3. Seven Weeks to go till the end of the year! Christmas is getting closer very fast. This week were lucky to be visited by a Teacher from China, Ms Ge Mei, who spent some time in our classroom, teaching us Chinese colours, and talking about Masks and their importance in Chinese Culture. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Term 3, Week10. The holidays are here. We all deserve a well earned rest. It has been a fantastic term, but a very hectic one and next term is shaping up much the same!
