Coronet Twelve-20 - Camera Collection of Ray Skinner

Canon Canonet QL17 G-III. Unknown 9x12 folding plate. Zeiss Ikon Contessa LK. C1950 a pseudo TLR made by Coronet (1926-1967) in Birmingham. The company was established in 1926 at 48 Great Hampton Street, Aston, Birmingham by Mr. Frederick Pettifer. Takes 120 and 620 film. There were two models, the basic and the Colour Filter Model - which had a green filter. The body construction had a metal frame and sides, with cardboard making up the front, back top and bottom.

Canon Canonet QL17 G-III. Unknown 9x12 folding plate. Zeiss Ikon Contessa LK. It is a viewfinder camera, not a rangefinder and was first manufactured in 1959 and has a Halina Anastigmat 45mm f/3.5. A local market buy, a bit rough around the edges, lens was dirty and sticking, so it all got a good clean. Another one where the leatherette had been peeled off so this got the 'red' treatment.

Canon Canonet QL17 G-III. Unknown 9x12 folding plate. Zeiss Ikon Contessa LK. Made in Germany between 1937 until 1950, though this looks like the late model with the cast-Hydronalium alloy top plate made between 1946 and 1950 as it also has the accessory shoe and double exposure prevention. Agfa Agnar 85mm f/4.5 lens (#276979), manual focusing with distance marks on the lens, no focusing aids so you just guess! The lens on ths one was 'frozen' (a common failing), a teardown and regrease solved this.

Ray Skinner Photography Portfolio. As comprehensive a list as I can easily maintain, I recently swapped from Canon gear to Fuji, I find it a lot lighter and nice to use, plus the images are incredible (even the jpg's). So far the best camera I have ever owned is the Fuji X100S. 8203; Fuji X100S. Fuji 35mm f1.4.

8203;Hi Lego Planet followers! Bert here with the next part of our brick bank construction. There are some awesome details in this kit. My personal favourites are the 'stained glass' windows and the chandelier. Shiny! The kit took us a few hours to build - mainly because we did it over a few days. There are lots of cool features and gadgets the largest of which is the vault on the ground floor which has a door which locks but a rather dodgy vent for the burglars to get in! 8203;I hope you like them.

I managed to get this rare view inside before his 'assistants' dragged me out toward the complaints department. I managed to run away before anything unpleasant was said or done. I would say that Mick takes his 'rental' business very seriously and doesn't stay in one place for very long. Larry goes on holiday. Happy Easter everybody :).

The only light was that of a torch at a low level to force harsh shadows. Image of the month (October 2014) - ‘Reading Light’.
