GBallz - My first game on the original Gameboy! Posted Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Download GBallz sources and binary here. GBallz is my first homebrew game on the original B/W Nintendo Gameboy. It was coded in C using the lightweight LCC compiler and I must say that I've had a blast doing it. As usual it's not really complete (lacks sound and quite a few levels) but 99% of the code is there and the game is playable. I've later recreated it as Bounce! On the Atari 2600. Enjoy it on an emulator!

Kool Aid Man NTSC- PAL conversion. Posted Sunday, March 06, 2005. Download Kool Aid Man PAL. The game has now (mostly) correct colors on PAL Atari 2600's. The framerate is left untouched (60hz). This preserves the original speed but could be incompatible with some older PAL tv sets. Here I also had to correct the number of scanlines since it was originally rendering a wrong amount which prevented it to display correct colors on an actual PAL 2600. Cakewalk NTSC- PAL conversion.

I quite like this game, but playing it on a PAL machine is pretty hard since it used to render an incorrect number of scanlines in the NTSC version, which is now fixed. I've also renamed the Cellular section to Gameboy section, since I don't really have much to write about the former, while I've realized there's quite something to say about the latter. Atari 2600 game (in development). Posted Monday, October 08, 2007. Demo version NTSC .bin image here. Is my latest (currently in development) Atari 2600 homebrewn game. It features top-view checkered playfield where you, moving a bouncing ball, will be assigned the task to clear all the tiles avoiding to drop off the field. Once finished, it will feature a PC-based level editor (already done) that will allow users to contribute their personal levels. Use z26 or CyberStella emulators to play the rom image.

Posted Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Activision Anthology Remix Edition is a commercial release from Activision which packages an Atari 2600 emulator for the GameBoy Advance along with a very good amount of games, including my homebrew Space Treat. The emulation is a real piece of art and manages to almost perfectly recreate the 2600's behaviour on the really limited GBA's hardware (limited CPU mostly). It's really great to have a portable 2600 emulator! GBallz - My first game on the original Gameboy!

Activsion Anthology Remix Edition is a commercial Atari 2600 emulator which packages some of the best original Activision games plus my homebrew game Space Treat.
