A mid-day bath (ie something distracting for the baby to do that involves keeping him in one spot for awhile). Julian didn't like being a laundry clip holder, apparently. Towards the beginning of the week, Julian was scared of Molly. But by the end of the week, he was happy to pat her and let her lick him (as long as it wasn't on his face). Julian 永琪 (Wing-Kei) Friedman. Monday, February 23, 2009. Upon measurement on his 5 month birthday, Julian was just over 26 inches long, and closing in on 20 lb. Unfortunately, he was a bit crabby the afternoon of his birthday, so you all get to see his cranky face. He's our little nerd in the making, he very much enjoys being read to. As soon as they were mobile, they clearly expressed an affinity for each other, so much so that the staff has made an effort to transition them between rooms together, and keep them in the same toddler room when they could have been split up. Julian 永琪 (Wing-Kei) Friedman. Saturday, December 26, 2009. Starting in October, Julian has been transitioning to one nap a day, right after lunch. So sometimes, he falls asleep into his lunch. Around that time, we also started working in earnest towards self-feeding. We started with spoons. J also was fully weaned from bottles by the end of October. Most of the time, he drinks from a sippy or a straw cup, but occasionally, he drinks from a cup proper! January 2, 2010 at 7:38 PM. Julian at 6 months.
