High performance, low cost U.A.V.s. Techwing low and slow. I wanted to share some test flight video. It was equipped with a 5000 mah 3 cell lipo. a 1100 kv 350 watt motor spinning a 9*7 prop. I did a 20 minute flight and burned 1007 ma. As you can see from the video it is extremely stable while flying slow, even with a fairly large battery on board. High performance, low cost U.A.V.s. The main steps to building the wings (pictures coming soon). Drill servo arms to fit push rods. Fit and mount servos. Adjust servo arms for neutral point. Glue in spar cap. Attach spar capture tube. Drill servo arms to fit push rods. Use a #50 or 5/64″. Drill so the push rod will fit through. Fit and mount servos. Run the wires and tack them down. Notch spar cap to fit wires. Glue in spar cap. Coat spar with goo. Coat spar cap area with goo. Attach spar capture tube.
