Tuesday, October 19, 2010. I felt happy and domestic today so I whipped up a batch of salt playdough. My mom was right. It really dries out your hands. It looks pretty, smells salty, and Josh would not play with it. He had some little buddies come over and they like it though. Sigh! I want to try cornstarch playdough next. That stuff is awesome! Sunday, September 12, 2010. Rain and potty training. Apparently Baxter is not a fan of the rain. All week it has been sunny and beautiful. Potty training is not a piece of cake. He goes every time I take him outside, which is great and I am taking home out at least 8 times a day, but and at least a few times I don't. Love the little tongue hanging out of the mouth. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. We got more Gracie photos! She looks so old but, more importantly, happy. We finally get to see that cute little smile. And it is a good one. It is so comforting to see the joy she is capable of. We just hope that we will inspire the same elation in her. We're only a few weeks away now. Next up is our travel assignment. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Twice in the last week Molly called us back into her bedroom after we put her to bed for the night and asked, "who's going to sleep with me? Until Gracie comes home Maybel is sleeping in Molly's room. I can so vividly remember the first day our new daughter shared a room with her sister. (ouch).
