Running around New York. It would be amazing to be beautiful. Sep 17th, 2010 at 9:23 AM. Image by Dawn Okoro. Being beautiful would mean seeing a beautiful face while brushing one's teeth, or catching a beautiful reflection in the train window on the way to work. And even when beauty grows old, it's clear enough, that there was once young beauty (and now there there's older beauty.) I taught a lesson this week on Luke chapter 15. This passage contains the parables of the lost coin, the lost sheep, and the prodigal child. The lost sheep is my favorite because I love the analogy of Christ being my good shepherd. I’m not so sure that I like being called a sheep however. Do you know how dumb sheep are?

Mark Olmos - Blog. My thoughts about the ongoing spiritual war and those who fight in it who are determined to make a difference. Wednesday, June 01, 2011. Oprah: Many Ways to God? Well the Oprah phenomenon is over in its present form. Her career has truly been astounding. My concern for her influence has to do with her view of God as expressed on her show. The source of her problem is thinking that an individual can create truth through sincere belief. You hear that philosophy in statements like:. It as...
