Monday, February 20, 2006. Another great weekend in the High Country. Originally uploaded by kt0503. It was another fabulous winter weekend in the High Country. We had snow, sleet, wind, and sunshine. Noah and I ran(I confess: we had to walk some of the way) up to the top of Flatop Mountain on Monday. There were snowdrifts up to my waist and snow on most of the trail. The view at the top was definitely an awesome reward for the challenging trek. Click on the picture to see more photos. We spent all of Monday exploring the city (We saw quite a bit of the city that we might not have seen otherwise because the navigator was a bit incompetent. Monday, October 31, 2005. Tonight I made 4 pumpkin cakes and decorated them for Halloween. We're having our Halloween party at A/BE on Monday, and I volunteered to make the refreshments. I was literally up to my elbows in cream cheese frosting, and I'm pretty sure I'll be cleaning it off the walls and appliances of my apartment for weeks. I had a blast, though! Wednesday, December 28, 2005. Christmas at the Flythes'. Originally uploaded by kt0503. After a beautiful Love Feast service at our church, we headed back to the Flythe house and had a yummy dinner and dessert. The meal was followed by a round of gift-giving where we were all equally surprised and thrilled with our presents.
